INVESTIGATION OF ECONOMIC INEQUALITY AND MIGRATION MOOD IN THE SAMTSKHE-JAVAKHETI REGIONPOPULATION

Summary

The article discusses the Samtskhe-Javakheti region, in particular, economic inequality in Samtskhe-Javakheti region population. For this purpose, a sociological survey of 100 target groups was conducted. The study is conducted with the income inequality Test and the Migrant Mood Test. The inequality ratio, so called the Gini coefficient, calculated by the income of the surveyed population was 0.63, which is higher than the average in Georgia. This confirms the. greater economic inequality in Samtskhe-Javakheti region population. The migration readiness of the population interviewed for this reason is also very high.
